My fascination with jewelry dates back to childhood. But
then, what little girl doesn’t love jewelry? My first experience with silversmithing
dates back to high school where I was continually breaking saw blades. My teacher was doubtful that I had a feeling
for the fine work entailed. However, I did not let that discourage me. I later
studied fine art at California College of Art where, under the tutelage of
several master silversmiths, I continued my jewelry making and learned not to
break saw blades.
When I moved to London
to study fashion design, I continued my studies in jewelry. After returning to Hollywood, I worked many years as a
designer in the fashion industry, abandoning my jewelry making. In recent years
I have rediscovered the joy of working with metal.I have traveled all over the world, always entranced by the
jewelry of each culture and each era. My influences are many from ancient to Victorian
and Edwardian, Mid Century, ethnic, and more recently, Goth and steampunk.
I hope you enjoy looking at my work. Should you wish to make
